Recording options for your editing team.
Original video files are supplied for your team’s edit. RAW still photographs are available in DNG format; original video files are MP4. The selected codec and colour profile are agreed before the shoot.

Equipment and recording settings are agreed for each shoot. Battery changes and charging are planned around the location and schedule.
Original files. Handed over by USB-C.
After the shoot, I connect the drone’s USB-C port to your laptop with a data cable and transfer the original video and photo files. Your team can receive the files on the laptop or copy them to an external storage disk connected to it.
Bring your laptop & storage
Have a compatible laptop and enough free space ready. Bring your external drive if that is where your team wants to store the files.
Transfer & check
We allow time for the transfer and check that the agreed files have copied before handover is complete.
Your team takes it forward
You receive the original recorded files for your edit. Editing and long-term project storage are handled by your client, agency or production team.
Please share your handover requirements before the shoot. I retain raw files for 30 days and clear them periodically.
Live viewing, planned separately.
Discuss director monitoring or authorised live-viewing requirements with your brief. Receiving equipment and compatibility are agreed before the shoot.

Flight conditions and approvals determine what is feasible. Raw files are retained for 30 days and cleared periodically.
